The Day We Met

For a moment, there was a sparkle
in the eyes of which i saw,
the beauty beyond that smile
I had never seen before;
And I tried to move on,
But the roads had diverged
into two paths which I had to choose,
But at last a decision immerged
faster than the heart could break loose;
So I came closer to see,
But I could have just walked by;
Oh, have my eyes deceived me?
Is this all a lie?

The heart beats louder,
pounding mercilessly on the soul,
The flesh became colder,
As my fate was still untold;
Then I heard the voice
which comfort the ears
and I felt the warmth
which took away my fears;
So sweet, so pleasant,
t'was like a windchime in the breeze,
So calm, so innocent,
it forced me to reply with ease.

As we exchanged words during the affair,
There was a sudden feel
from the heart once broken without care,
it started to heal;
As time passes by,
my departure was imminent,
I said goodbye
but was it really meant?
Of what had happened and why it did,
My heart had mended, only a bit
but the hope it gave I felt it deep
in my soul and for the memory to keep;
for as long as there is life in me,
I shall always hope for the best to be...


This was something baby wrote for me for our 2 mths anniversary. Felt like posting it up coz so many memories =) Love ya baby...mwah~!
